RivalFlow added a simple feature that could change the way you use the product--and it's hiding in plain sight.
After all of the analysis and generating new copy that's made to help your page rank higher, you have possibly the most important steps--adding the answers to your page.
That's where this incredibly simple but impactful update comes in. The new "copy full page draft" feature blends all of the new answers into your existing page so that your work in the editor is, well, a lot less work.
This feature takes all new answers from a RivalFlow project and blends them with the text of your existing page. This "full page draft" is copied to your clipboard so you can paste an improved, updated draft into your editor.
In essence, it's an instant page update that rolls up every copy-and-paste step so you don't have to.
What I like about this is having context. This merged view gives me an instant preview of how all of the answers will work with my existing page. As a regular RivalFlow user, I go back to review the entire doc's flow before I hit publish, and I keep a running mental tally of topics as I work. But now, that mental work is done for me before I start.
I get a fully merged page that I can read for flow. I can spot the need for visual breaks and make sure all of the updates are still what I want to say.
Plus, all of the improvements (new copy) are highlighted different colors, so you can see what's been added and where we've built on what was already there.
I just pasted a full draft into Google Docs for one of our articles, and I like the freedom of editing as I go, commenting on the changes, and making notes to myself of other ways I want to update the article's direction. With new additions in place, I can go look for new internal link opportunities or mess around with the order of the page's key sections.
Before, that was something that took a lot of mental gymnastics--or at least really good notes. The color coding has been an unexpected bonus, helping me keep track of what was already there and what I was missing.
This option combines everything—your original content, our suggested edits, and even brand-new answers to unaddressed questions—into one cohesive draft. It’s ready to paste into Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or wherever you work best.
You can see what’s original, what’s new, and what’s been adjusted.
We use color-coding in the pasted draft to help you navigate the changes:
✅ Note: The color coding carries over when you paste into Google Docs and Microsoft Word. However, if you paste directly into your content editor, your CMS might remove the highlighting. Check for any text that was set to "strikethrough" too.
The result is a fully editable document that lets you:
This is especially useful when dealing with:
We built this because customers asked for easier execution. You already know what needs improvement—now you can drop the rework and jump straight into implementing.
For now, you’ll find it under:
But it’s not staying hidden for long. We’re working on making this a core part of the product. We envision a blend where you can copy and paste right in the app.
If you're in the "whoa Nellie, not so fast" camp that isn't ready to hand over the reins, don't worry. This exists as an option, not the default.
In fact, RivalFlow still includes other copy methods. These options help you turn a project into a sales one-pager or a branded client approval document. Or just grab one answer at a time to drop into an article.
When you paste any of these copy methods from RivalFlow, it keeps the header formatting and text formatting (like bold type) intact.
This new copy option is a time-saving game changer, but you can use it the way you see fit. It's helping us get to our ultimate goal: a single click improvement of an article, complete with copy additions. This update brings us one step closer.
It's going to impact the way you use RivalFlow more than anything we've released in the last year.
